At The Action Group, we believe in people’s right to live independent lives. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to play a key role in our new Connections Project. This is an excellent opportunity for a support worker looking to progress in their career and gain some management experience!

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of people with support needs?

We are looking for people who are caring, fun, motivated, creative and great at problem solving. The people we support want support workers who are friendly, practically minded and are great communicators.

Our new Connections Project aims to deliver extra support in breaking down digital barriers. The Assistant Team Manager role will provide managerial support to our Connections Project and the project’s team manager as well as supervise and support the digital support workers.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the digital world, proactive, and with a hands-on approach to work. We are looking for someone that promotes independence but is also there to provide support when necessary. This is a very active role and it will involve not only the provision of individual support, but also working with carers and relatives of the people we support.

The Action Group is about breaking down barriers and encouraging independence. We put trust, kindness and respect at the heart of what we do, both as a support provider and as an employer. The ideal candidate will be fully committed to The Action Group’s values of equality, inclusion and opportunity for all.
