Support Worker - Falkirk area

We are looking for a suitable worker, able to provide one-to-one support to men and/or women experiencing mental health difficulties through the provision of emotional, social or practical within their own homes and community settings.

You will be part of the Home Support team with access to supports from our office base in Stirling.

Ideally, we are looking for staff who hold a SVQ 3 in social care or equivalent for both posts, but suitable candidates may be offered training and support to achieve the required qualification.

As you will be working across the Forth Valley areas it would be an advantage if you hold a current driving licence and are able to use your own car.

Organisation profile: Action in Mind is an independent mental health charity and company limited by guarantee. We currently operate across the Forth valley area specifically supporting people experiencing mental ill health or living with chronic and long term mental illness.

We provide a range of person-centred support services – befriending, counselling, day resource, rural outreach and home support and develop projects with partner organisations where we have identified unmet needs or where changes in health and social care policy may impact on mental health service users.
