Our Retirement Housing with Meals service, Carron Court in Bathgate, is looking for the right person to be involved in the preparation and delivery of a flexible meals service to tenants in accordance with food safety and service standards.
As a Retirement Housing with Meals Assistant you will provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. You will also contribute to the maintenance of a high level of cleanliness within all common parts of the development.
Hours of employment are 14 hours per week, organised as follows:
Saturday and Sunday, 11.30 am to 7 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Role Requirements:
- An interest in working with older people and an understanding of their needs is essential.
- Although relevant experience in a similar post is desirable, it is not essential as induction and training (e.g. food hygiene) will be provided.
- A REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification is desirable.
We offer:
- The Assistant hourly rate is GBP 9.35
