New Care Assistant Opportunity in Craigmillar, Edinburgh

Bield is one of the largest providers of housing and support services to older people in Scotland and everyone plays an important role in making sure that our services improve the lives of older people in Scotland.

Our Retirement Plus service, Castlebrae Glebe in Craigmillar are looking for the right person to work as part of a team providing high-quality person-centred care and housing support to tenants.

We now have a part time position available, working 32 hours per week, 4 our of 7 days on a rota basis within Castlebrae Glebe. If you are invited to attend an interview, we will discuss your availability; however, you should be able to work at our peak times throughout the day and at weekends.

We offer:

• Care Assistant hourly rate is GBP 9.35
• Excellent holidays of up to 34 days each year (pro rata for part-time employees)
• Option to buy or sell holidays each year
• We pay the cost of your PVG Membership or record update
• Opportunities to receive support and funding to help you achieve a vocational qualification if you don't already have one.
