Our Castlebank Gardens service in Anniesland, Glasgow is looking for the right person to prepare, cook and serve healthy, nutritious dishes as well as be responsible for menu planning, food purchase and the provision of high-quality meals and snacks for residents in a care setting.

You will ensure that all food hygiene and health and safety standards set by Bield and external regulators are met. You will also consult with your customers to ensure individual dietary needs are met.

Hours of employment are average of 24.5 per week, working on a rota basis 7 out of 14 days.

Role Requirements:

You must:

- Have an interest in working with Older People and an understanding of their needs.

- Be able to plan, prepare, cook and deliver the meal service.

Desirable:

- Having knowledge of statutory regulations related to food hygiene.

- Experience of working with older people or other vulnerable groups of people in a housing setting.

- SVQ Food Preparation Level II or equivalent.

- REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene.
