New Assistant Opportunity in Penicuik
Our Retirement Housing Service, Baldwin Court in Penicuik, is looking for the right person to undertake a range of cleaning duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.
Additional cleaning tasks such as cleaning vacant flats and or external pathways of the development may be undertaken periodically.
You may have the opportunity to be involved in other activities within the development including providing general assistance and support to tenants while on duty and supporting the manager with property related tasks.
Hours of employment are 12.5 per week, organised as follows:
Monday to Friday, 11 am to 1.30 pm.
Role Requirements:
- An interest in working with older people and an understanding of their needs is essential.
- Relevant experience in a similar post is desirable, although it is not essential as induction and training will be provided.

- Retirement Housing Assistant hourly rate is £9.50
- Excellent holidays of up to 34 days each year (pro rata for part-time employees)
