Get ready to love your job in 2021 by starting a new career! Do you want to invest your talent and skills doing something challenging yet rewarding? Then, we'd love to meet you!

You don’t need to have experience but the right values and motivation are essential - honesty, openness and empathy are key skills that we value in people who join our services

If you’re looking for full time or additional work, and have great listening and communication skills developed from a previous career in hospitality, retail and many other sectors, then we have a role for you.

If you’re good at seeing people as unique individuals with their own skills, opinions and dreams for the future; developing professional relationships with a diverse set of people; encouraging people to overcome obstacles and ensuring their voices are heard; if you are an excellent team player, but also value being trusted to work alone then we currently have opportunities for you to join our teams in Edinburgh and Lothians.

We can offer you the opportunity to work in one of Scotland’s leading social care and support charities. We know our work is challenging and rewarding, and we require people with a flexible and inspirational approach able to find innovative solutions with people, not for them.

Our services in Edinburgh & Lothians provide person-centred support that enables people to live the life they choose. Our goal is to enable people to live safely and to do the things they want to do. This includes day-to-day living, planning for the future and realising their dreams. We provide specialist support to people with a range of conditions including mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism. Shift patterns vary from service to service to meet the needs of the individuals we support. Our services are innovative and continually developing, creating opportunities for you to develop a rewarding career within the organisation.

We’ll trust you to become an amazing member of our team, to actively listen to people, to develop personalised support plans for people so we all share the same understanding of what is important to the person and identify what they would like support to help them achieve. We’ll support you by providing a comprehensive induction, ongoing learning and development opportunities, regular supervision and team meetings to ensure you maximise your potential.

We will support you to develop your career by helping you register as a professional social care practitioner with the SSSC. We’ll support you in completing your vocational SVQ training and we’ll ensure you benefit from continual professional development.

You will be rewarded for your commitment, our benefits include salary enhancements based on qualifications and length of service.
