The Role

Cornerstone is one of Scotland’s largest charities and a leading provider of care and support to around 2,400 adults, children and young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs. We are committed to making sure the people we support are able to live the best life possible. One of the ways we hope to achieve this is by ensuring our colleagues have all the right tools and training to help them be the very best they can be. Our Training Academy is an SQA and ILM approved centre and our award-winning team offer a holistic range of training interventions across healthcare and management.

You’ll be responsible for the planning, developing and managing the delivery of a range of fun, effective and impactful digital learning materials for our colleagues, in line with our strategic objectives. You’ll use software such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier Pro to design a range of digital materials suitable for vocational training, whilst ensuring the Cornerstone branch is maintained, strengthened and reinforced throughout all materials. You’ll think creatively and innovatively to develop new ideas, and establish an efficient, effective and streamlined design process from initial concept through to delivery.

About You

First and foremost, you’ll have a passion for branding and design. We are looking for a well-rounded creative, able to use your creative flair and, at the same time, demonstrate a pragmatic approach to tasks.

  • ability to design and create original art pieces
  • an understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline 360 (or similar), including InDesign
  • ability to produce concept art and basic 3D modelling skills
  • a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality
  • a flair for photography, video production and motion graphics
  • open-minded team player attitude
