We’re now on the lookout for a friendly, efficient and reliable new colleague to join our team in West Dunbartonshire as Branch Administrator on a full-time 39 hours per week basis. The role is for 1 year on a fixed term contract.

You will be based in our purpose build facility in Dumbarton where we provide support to eight individuals with complex support needs to live in their own flats. Our team consists of three managers as well a team of dedicated support practitioners.

The Role


As Service Administrator, you’ll be first point of contact and will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day administration tasks and supporting the team where needed.

This is a fast-paced role and you’ll act as a central point of contact within our service, coordinating a wide range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting the services and and team with administrative tasks
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Banking & finances
  • Managing staff files
  • Answering the telephone
  • Communication with with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels.

About You

What we’ll need you to bring;

  • Experience in providing administrative support in a customer-facing role
  • Confidence in the use of Microsoft packages (including Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and work independently
  • Great problem-solving skills with a positive can do attitude and approach
  • Excellent attention to detail

Hours of work will generally be between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, however there is an expectation of some flexibility around this to support the service with meetings which may occur out with normal working hours
