Are you looking for a rewarding new job where you can make a difference every day? Look no further! Our fantastic #LowerArnha in Ellon are looking for people like you to join them on a part-time (16, 20 or 25 hours) basis.

The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, fun team that supports four gentlemen to live in their own home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be supporting the gentlemen with their day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care and medication.

With the gentlemen also enjoying being part of their local community, you'll also be supporting and participating in their hobbies and interests which include, swimming, going for walks, singing, playing musical instruments and attending events.

Routines and activities are different at this present time. Lots of activities are happening within the home and outdoors, therefore a creative and fun approach to bringing in ideas to keep the people we support active and occupied during this time of restrictions would helpful.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!

Going out for drives is a popular activity so if you're a driver that would be great, but it's not a deal breaker for the right candidate.

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • Honesty, reliability and trustworthiness
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • A caring attitude and approach
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Always seek to go above and beyond what's expected
  • An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too!)
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview via video on 3rd or 4th May 2021.
