Time to enjoy your job again!! You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ Level 3 qualification too!

Our amazing #TeamHalliday in Peterhead are now on the lookout for a caring, professional and reliable individual to join them on a permanent part-time (16 hours) basis. To be considered for this opportunity, we will need you to hold a full UK driving licence.

The Role

As a Support Worker you'll become part of a friendly team who provides invaluable support to a young gentleman who has autism to live in his own home. As well as supporting this young man with all aspects of his daily living, including personal care, medication, cooking & cleaning, you'll also support with his hobbies and interests too. Some of his hobbies include swimming, walking, going to the golf range, outings, going for meals and drives in the car.

All we’ll need you to bring is;

  • A full driving licence
  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity.
  • Honesty, reliability and trustworthiness.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • A caring attitude and approach.
  • A positive approach to learning.
  • Always seek to go above and beyond what's expected.
  • An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines.
  • Confidence in the use of computers.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best 24/7 support possible, shift patterns will usually fall into patterns of Monday-Friday 1515-2300 or 0700-0915 hours (including a sleepover) and weekend shifts 0900-1600, 1600-2300 and 0700-0900 hours (including a sleepover).

Typically you will work 4-6 sleepovers per month. Our sleepover shifts are not included in your contracted hours. You will receive an additional sleepover payment of £76 for each sleepover shift you work.

We are looking to fill these positions as soon as possible and withhold the right to withdraw these vacancies if we receive a high volume of applications before our closing date. Please apply early to avoid any disappointment.
