Our fantastic #TeamHarbour in Peterhead are looking for caring, confident and resilient individuals with initiative and life experience to join them on a part-time, permanent basis. We have 68 to 16 hour contracts available.

The Role

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. You'll become part of a friendly team who support three individuals to live in their own homes. Your main aim will be to give one to one support with all aspects of daily living, encouraging independence and helping them to reach their goals and potential. Some of their hobbies and interests include cooking, baking, listening to music and going for walks, as a Support Worker you will help encourage individuals to try new activities.

The people we support can display behaviours that challenge so we are ideally looking for individuals with experience in a caring and supportive role. You’ll receive robust training and have a helpful team behind you to support you every step of the way. Keeping to routines and guidelines is incredibly vital, so we’ll also need you to understand the importance.

All we’ll need you to bring is;

• A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
• Confidence in the use of technology although training will be given

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible, shift patterns usually fall into patterns of 0800-1615 hours or 1600-0815 hours (which includes sleepover).

Typically, you will work 2-4 sleepovers per month. Sleepover shifts are not included in your contracted hours. You will receive an additional sleepover payment of £76 for each sleepover shift you work. Our 8 hour contracts can be with or without a sleepover.
