ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow.

We are currently recruiting for a 22 hour part time support assistant (night shift) at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service n the Yorkhill area of the city. Esmond Street provides high quality, 24/7 person centred support to adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advanced needs.

Your role will be to assist individuals with their health and wellbeing needs and to take an active role in maintaining the safety and security of the home environment. This will include participating in tasks that are supportive to the needs of the service and which assist service users in relation to keeping their home comfortable and running smoothly. Experience in residential support work is preferred but not essential. The successful applicant should also be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 Qualification.
