Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) provides high quality and personalised support and care for over 300 individuals across Fife and Forth Valley. We support the individuals we work with to manage or overcome challenges, including age-related issues, alcohol and drug addictions, autism spectrum disorders, complex needs, homelessness, learning disabilities and mental health issues.

We work with people in their own homes, assisting them to do the things that matter to them and realise their ambitions. We believe that great support leads to great lives.

Our support and care enables the individuals we work with to:

  • Have a safe and secure home
  • Live as independently as possible
  • Live as full a life as possible
  • Be part of their local community

Kingdom Support and Care has GOLD accreditation with Investors in People. In our most recent staff survey, 75% of respondents rated us a good or very good employer.

About the Role

In this role, you will be an integral member of the support team contributing to and ensuring the high quality of care and support for individuals within the Cupar Service.

Within the Cupar Service specifically we provide flexible support to individuals with mental health issues, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. There is a need for personal care within the service on varying levels. The role of a Support Worker is to support and develop our supported individuals to allow them to partake in the transition from institutional care to social housing with the final goal being able to live as independently as possible within the community.

The service and support we provide is built around the individual, taking on board their needs, choices and aspirations. No day is ever the same, but every day is rewarding to see how much joy these individuals get from the support you will provide.

About You

We are looking for upbeat, confident and energetic individuals who have the desire and drive to support people to have the best life possible. You must be aware of professional boundaries. You will provide support and participate in activities so energy and initiative is vital.

There is no typical day within KSC, one day you can be cooking and shopping whilst the next can be taken up going swimming, colouring in or simply having a coffee providing emotional support. Each of the individuals we support are all different hence why we need people from all walks of life with a range of interests, who have the want and passion to make a difference to the lives of others.
