The Service

The Fife Temporary Accommodation with Support service provides short term accommodation with support at West Bridge Mill, Kirkcaldy for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The Job

As Support Worker in the Fife Accommodation team you will be responsible for delivering housing support to individuals experiencing homelessness within a supported accommodation project.

As a support worker you will develop effective relationships with people affected by a range of challenges, support them to cope in difficult times and enable them to live a good life. In doing so, you will provide practical, emotional and social support to help people to live as independently as possible and make informed choices in all aspects of their lives.

Additionally you will provide emotional support, to assist people to take part in activities that matter to them and help them engage with their community to reduce social isolation.
