The Mungo Foundation is a well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. We're one of the most diverse providers of social care and support for vulnerable people in Glasgow, West Central Scotland and beyond. At any one time we will typically run around 40 different types of projects, delivering support to over 1500 individuals, their families and communities.

We currently have a vacancy for a Male Housing Support Worker to join our team within our Housing Support Services based in Barrhead and surrounding areas.

'Gordon' is looking for someone who can support him to get out in his car, spend time outdoors and enjoy music. Do you think you could support him with these activities?

The successful candidate will provide support to individuals with learning and physical disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the people they support and by adhering to relevant policies and procedures. They will ensure the continued health and wellbeing of the people they support by responding to their healthcare needs including personal care and medication.

The successful candidate will deliver person-centred support in accordance with individual outcome-based support plans, the ability to travel is essential.

The successful candidate must possess or be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
