This is an exciting opportunity to join Penumbra in a Service Manager role as we launch new services in Aberdeen City that are designed to provide people with quick access to mental health support. The Service Manager will manage these services which are being developed with Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership and NHS Grampian.
Aberdeen WELL (Well, Empowered, Linked Locally) will provide direct access to a community-based team of Peer Practitioners and volunteers. The team will work with partners to provide short-term support and will connect people to appropriate support agencies and community resources. The team will also develop peer networks so that people have access to support within their local areas from people with lived experience.
The Service Manager will also support our Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who work within the NHS Grampian Psychological Therapy Service. PWPs deliver 1:1 support and workshop programmes that are focused on improving wellbeing.
