Trust Housing Association has a fantastic opportunity for Care and Support Workers (Older People) to join our team based at Pollokshaws. 6 permanent and 1 fixed term post.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment we will offer you: -

· Competitive hourly rate of £9.87—£10.25 per hour

· 19.5 – 36.75 hours per week on a 2-week rolling rota between 8am & 10pm

What we’re looking for in our Care & Support Workers:

Here at Trust, we are dedicated to making a real difference in caring and supporting people in their everyday lives.

We are looking for care & support workers for 20.75hrs, 20.25hrs x 2, 19.5hrs, 25.25hrs, 30.75hrs (permanent) and temporary 36.5 hrs for 6 months.

You would be working with the tenants, to ensure they are managing tasks within their daily life including homecare support, personal care, and helping to promote a positive, active healthy lifestyle.

Here at Pollokshaws, we support tenants with a variety of different care needs, some will have physical and/or learning difficulties, limited verbal communication and brain related illnesses.

Your working pattern would be over a 2-week rolling rota consisting of Day Shifts: 07.30-13.00 - Back Shifts: 16.00-22.00/16.30-22.00

What matters most is that you have the correct positive values and attitude.

Care & Support Skills and Experience:

Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing continued personal development.
