We are looking for Care Workers to join our Extra Care Housing Project at Longfield Crescent in Duns. We are already providing a great service within our Extra Care Housing Development and are now ready to provide this within the local area to our neighbourhood community.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment we will offer you: -

· Competitive hourly rate of £9.87 - £10.25

· Guaranteed hours - contracted for 21 hours per week working between 8am & 10pm

· Access to paid Training and vocational qualification

· Generous holiday entitlement

· Paid PVG check

· Option to work additional hours with our staff agency

Working as part of our team you will ensure that our clients receive the support and personal care identified in individual care plans, making it possible for them to continue to enjoy as much independent living as they’re able.

Working with local neighbours, within walking distance of our Extra Care Housing Project at Longfield Crescent you will provide housing support, personal care and meals.

What we’re looking for in our Care & Support Workers:

Ideally, you will have some experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community however as full training and support is provided, we would also welcome applications from those new to the care sector or those thinking of a change in career.

Access to a car is not essential as all our clients will be within walking distance of our Extra Care Housing development at Longfield Crescent.
