Early Years Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen for a nursery practitioner to join our established, well qualified team at the Angela Elizabeth Nursery in Wilkieston. The nursery is open Monday to Friday between 7.30am-6.00pm and registered to care for a maximum of 73 children per day between the age of 3 months - 5 years.

The candidate will hold either HNC / SVQ 3 in early years or equivalent. The candidate will be required to join PVG scheme and register with SSSC. The candidate will be flexible, have experience working with children from birth to 5 years and a knowledge of the Pre birth to three framework and the Curriculum for Excellence. Rate of pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications. The practitioner will work as part of the nursery team providing quality care and education to all service users. It is essential that the applicant have good communication skills, be enthusiastic, hardworking with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
