Early Years Practitioner

We are are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Early Years Practitioner to work in our successful pre-school.

You will support the provision of Early Learning and Childcare for children aged between 2 and 5 years. Hours of work are 26 per week, term time only, spread over 4 days (8.45am-3.15pm), plus a 2-hour planning meeting every fortnight (again, term-time only); however, flexible working applications outside of this will be considered.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering sessions, working as part of a team and working with both our 2s group and pre-school. You will receive ongoing training (with dedicated training budget), support with career development and reimbursement of SSSC registration fees. Pay rises are also scheduled during 2020 as part of the build-up to delivering the 1140 expansion to all children.

You must hold, or be willing to work towards an SVQ3 (or equivalent) in Early Years Care and Education and be (or willing to become) registered with SSSC. The post is subject to a satisfactory PVG check.
