Here at Happitots, we offer quality Childcare and Early Education for children from 12 weeks to 5 years of age. We also offer an ad-hoc hourly creche service for children of the same age.

Our Nursery & Creche is situated in Cumbernauld town centre, on the third floor of the Antonine Shopping Centre. Playrooms within our nursery are generously proportioned, carefully planned and extensively resourced to create inspiring learning environments in which children can grow and learn in confidence.

An amazing opportunity has come available to work at our wonderful nursery setting, we are looking for a Deputy Manager to cover Maternity Leave, the post will start mid-September.

About you

We’re looking for a candidate who shares our values to join our friendly team.

Essential:

• SVQ or NVQ level 3 in Childcare, HNC or equivalent
• Prepared to work towards Level 4 in Childcare
• Prepared to work towards PDA or BA in childhood studies
• First Aid
• Food Hygiene
• Knowledge, understanding and practical experience of Day Care for young children
• Knowledge and practical understanding of child development and parenting
• Computer Literate
• Report Writing
• Communication Skills
• Presentation Skills

Desirable:

• SVQ or NVQ level 4 in Childcare
• HND
• Early Years Professional
• Forest Schools
