Loretto Nursery is in the process of becoming a Nature Kindergarten. This exciting project will enable you to influence the process, choices and decisions in creating this amazing space. It’s a great opportunity to get your ideas heard, implemented and be part of a really engaging team at a time of positive change.

You will have autonomy and accountability for the smooth running of the nursery. Responsible for providing high quality, forward thinking, inspiring childcare and education, you will liaise regularly with parents, local authorities, and colleagues, so communication is key. People management and financial understanding are also important aspects of the role, however full training will be provided.

Our values put children first, always, and our principles of well-being, knowledge, self-evaluation, accountability, efficiency and celebrating success underpin everything we do. As part of a larger nursery group, you will have the full support from talented central services support team, each of whom are experts in own their field.

A passionate, positive role model. An enthusiastic, team player with a knowledge and experience of providing inspiring high-quality childcare and education. An advocate of outdoor learning and a great communicator, with determination and ambition to excel and grow within your career.

Working as part of a dedicated, forward-thinking, and creative team, you will provide ideas and an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop, and learn. You’ll be able to build and maintain strong, supportive, and respectful relationships with your team and parents to enable individual children’s needs to be met.

Resilient and adaptable to change, you will be a creative thinker with a strengths-based approach to problem solving and communication.

Ideally qualified to Level 9, or willing to work towards it, this role would suit an extremely organised, self-motivated, passionate person who thrives in an outdoor nursery environment. This is a great opportunity to make your mark and be involved in this exciting project and shape young minds through a fantastic early years’ experience.
