Operation Assistants for children nursery

Casa Montessori Nursery is a new day nursery with a strong ethos oriented towards sustainability and nature education, in central Edinburgh, Scotland and open all year.

We are looking for a high motivated and enthusiast Operation Assistants, who will help ensuring the nursery operates smoothly and that hygiene and quality standards are met. S/he supports teachers, teaching assistants and administrators to provide a favourable, safe and secure environment for the children in the nursery, ensuring their needs are met throughout their day.

Key areas:

• To operate the kitchen and other food prep and food storage areas.
• To ensure environmental hygiene standards are being adhered to.
• To support teachers with mealtimes.
• To ensure supplies are stocked.
• To work as part of a team.

Previous experience in hospitality is a must; experience with children and Food Hygiene training and certificate are a plus.

Starting date: January 2021.
