Manager of Day Care of Children

Vacancy for Manager of Day Care of Children at Crossmichael and Parton Playgroup

A position has arisen at our Playgroup for an enthusiastic and motivated Manager/Lead Practitioner. The chosen applicant must be willing to work passionately with our friendly but hard-working staff, and also our parents and children.

The post would require the successful applicant to work approximately 20 hours per week, and be involved in both the administrative responsibilities of running a busy nursery, and the practical care and development of the children.

It is essential that the applicant has attained, or is working towards, a BA in Childhood Practice (or other suitable level 9 qualification which allows lead practitioner registration with SSSC).

Prior to beginning employment, the successful applicant must first go through the usual PVG checks, and for these to be entirely acceptable to us.

The salary will be dependent on the applicant’s prior experience and their qualifications, and will be discussed in greater detail with the interested applicants.
