• £31,414 - £36,071 per annum. Starting point may be negotiable.

• Degree qualified

• Based in the Glasgow office with some travel

• Full current driving license with own transport

• Reports to Head of Professional Learning and Quality Assurance

Early Years Scotland (EYS) is looking for an exceptional individual to join their Professional Learning Team at a hugely exciting stage in its development! You would play an invaluable role in making the EYS Professional Learning Academy the go to choice for all those invested in high quality early learning and childcare.

What could a week look like for the Professional Learning Manager?

Monday Research and develop high quality materials for a session for ELC Professionals.

Tuesday Plan and deliver a professional learning session for ELC professionals within HMP Low Moss.

Wednesday With one of your team, deliver a session for our own Early Years Scotland practitioners. Thursday E Learning time! Facilitate a webinar with a national collaborative learning community!

Friday What will Friday bring? Share your vision of what a day in the EYS PL Team would look like!

This is an exceptional opportunity and a unique challenge waiting to be shaped by you!

You will work closely with the Head of Professional Learning and Quality Assurance, supporting them to achieve the highest standards in all aspects of the Professional Learning Team’s remit.

You will have a pivotal role in shaping learning programmes, creating materials and influencing and improving practice. You will ensure that Early Years Scotland builds on its excellent reputation in this field and becomes a leading and sought after professional learning provider for the early years sector in Scotland.

You will bring a range of experience and skills including:

• significant experience of delivering professional learning in the sector, including online

• knowledge and experience of developing learning, including online

• excellent knowledge of early years policy at local and national level

• line management experience

• enthusiastic team player and team leader
