Manager

Based in Rhu, Helensburgh, the KangaRhu Preschool is a private organisation which operates in partnership with the local authority. We are a member of Early Years Scotland, supporting the holistic development of children between the ages of three and five through the Curriculum for Excellence and Development Milestone Toolkit.

At present, we are a family team of four, with a current vacancy of Manager position. The position is held during term time with the potential for additional hours through holiday clubs.

As manager, you will be required to oversee the daily operations of our childcare, ranging from overseeing staff, implementing the curriculum and innovating activities to promote early childhood development. We strive to promote learning through play, through which we aim to introduce exciting opportunities for learning while preserving a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a BA in Childhood services or be willing to work towards the qualification and will be required to register with SSSC and PVG. Addition qualities include a strong understanding of early childhood development, strong organisational skills and confident leadership abilities as to deliver and delegate authority when necessary. To maintain our family community, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential when interacting with children, colleagues and parents.
