EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER/SUPPORT WORKER

BANK EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER/SUPPORT WORKER

Full-time (Part-time & job share considered) 35 hours per week

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm (must be available for either 8.00am start or 4.00-6.00pm finish)

Salary Scale 10-15 £17,760.83 - £19,696.91 + pension

Based within Midlothian Sure Start across or within one of our 6 centres

We are currently recruiting for various early years posts across our 6 Family Learning Centres. The role is to support and assist in the day-to-day running of the playroom, creating a welcoming environment for parents and children and contributing to each child’s self development and level of autonomy.

A qualification in childcare or working towards one and a child protection certificate or commitment to undertake one is essential as is experience of working with young children. An understanding of the difficulties experienced by vulnerable families and good interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
