Job Description

Location:  Various throughout Aberdeen

Duration:  3 x Permanent, Full Time  (1 x 37 hours per week) ( 2 x annualised hours)  annualised hours = 40 hours per week for 36 weeks during summer period and 30.25 hours per week for 16 weeks during winter period

Job Purpose:
To undertake either individually or as a member of a team a variety of duties concerned with Environmental Operations and driving using any allocated vehicle. The jobholder may be required to undertake work in public parks, playing fields, cemeteries landscaped areas, public roads, amenity areas and housing estates and other public open spaces


The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Full clean UK driving licence

Valid Driving License for up to 7.5 tonne vehicle or willingness to achieve license if not already held


The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

Proven ability to work as part of a team and as an individual

Proven ability to understand and respond to instructions given

Proven ability to deal with customers in a helpful and friendly manner 

Proven ability to resolve issues and contribute to continuous improvement of service
