Location:  Kittybrewster (Fleet Services)

Duration: Full-Time/Permanent

Job Purpose

The post holder will be responsible for the daily operations of the Fleet vehicle movements within Kitty Brewster yard/workshop. There responsibilities will be to carry out duties in compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures and operate Council equipment to the required standard and report any defects to their supervisor. There may require the completion of paperwork.

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

• Hold a Category C (HGV) driving licence and relevant CPC

The post holder will be expected to:

• Work outside in all weathers.
• Work a shift pattern where contracted hours are worked between the hours of 0600 to
2200 Monday to Thursday and 0600 to 1900 Fridays inclusive.

Responsibilities

The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

• Ability to drive a heavy goods vehicle.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
