Argyll and Bute Council is seeking to recruit a Senior IT Engineer to undertake a specialist technical and key role within the IT Applications team to support the operation of existing large Council systems and to provide a technical lead in projects that require significant ICT expertise, such as in the introduction of new or replacement systems and technologies.

The Council is seeking an experienced individual to join a dedicated and professional team engaged in supporting every aspect of the Council's business. The post holder will support the IT Officer to deliver high quality, efficient and effective ICT services to the Council and to fulfil the team’s service objectives and plans by working in partnership with colleagues, within and out with the service.

This is a part time post working 28 hours per week (work pattern is negotiable).  This post can be based in either Kilmory Lochgilphead, or the Graham Williamson IT Centre, Helensburgh.
