Assistant Building Services Engineer (Electrical)
Waverley Court

Salary: £31,484 - £37,589
Hours: 36 per week

The Council is looking to recruit 2 dynamic, client focused, personable and technically strong Assistant Electrical Building Services Engineers with previous people, design, project and contract management experience. You will be part of a growing team of building services engineers within the in-house multi discipline design service for the Council.

You should be HND or similar qualification in Building Services / Electrical Engineering and hold an associate membership or working toward full membership of a related professional body such as CIBSE, IET or similar. Having a degree qualification would also be of benefit.

You should also have post qualification experience in building services design and project/contract management, as well as a proven record and ability of working as part of a professional design team. Experience and working knowledge in Auto CAD, MS Office and building services design packages would be advantageous. Experience of working with BIM would also be an advantage. You should have good communication skills both written and verbally and be able to present well as a representative of the Council. You should also have a valid CSCS card.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.  For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
