Salary - £30,563 - £36,499 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional 40 weeks)
Hours - 18 per week, 40 weeks per year. (Optional additional 7 hrs per week)
Queensferry Primary School is a non-denominational school within the City of Edinburgh Council. It is situated within the historic Royal Burgh of Queensferry and on a school campus with two buildings. Currently we have 17 primary classes and 2 nursery classes. Our nursery is expanding as we plan towards the full implementation of 1140 hours.
Our roll as of August 2019 is 459 pupils in the primary school and in nursery we have 48 full time children and 80 part time children. We also have provision for babies and eligible 2s.
We are seeking to appoint a Business Manager to join our enthusiastic and large vibrant team on a permanent basis for 18 hours a week. Currently there is an optional additional 7 hours per week available on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will have strong team working skills and be able to multitask in a busy environment, while working closely with the Senior Leadership Team. Excellent IT skills and knowledge of finance and workforce systems along with experience of managing both budgets and a team is essential.
Our salary range typically reflects the starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
