Customer Services Supervisors - Bars & Catering
Assembly Rooms & Church Hill Theatre
Salary: £18,316 - £21,190 (pro rata for part time)
We are looking for can do / customer focused individuals to come and join our bars and catering team at the Assembly Rooms and Church Hill Theatre.
The role is there to help the operational running of the bars and catering element of our events and performances and to ultimately support the duty managers in delivering exceptional experiences.

MAJOR TASKS/JOB ACTIVITIES
Responsible for helping deliver the bar and catering operations and any associated services in any of the Cultural venues, adhering to the cultural venues set service standards.
Work in one of the bars, selling points or café areas through the Cultural venues including any event functions where alcoholic beverages and food will be served.
Preparation of café food including but not limited to sandwiches, light meals and bar snacks when working on one of the café or bar sales points
Responsible for setting up bars in line with event and client requirements, ensuring that they are fully stocked and equipped before staff come on shift and that at the end all closing down procedures are followed including cashing up, cleaning of work areas, restocking and securing the securing of stock.
Responsible for handling and cashing up large volumes of cash, processing credit card transactions, making floats and ensuring that any financial discrepancies are investigated and reported.
Act as key holder including locking and alarming the venues at the end of the night as required.
Responsible for ensuring that all staff follow the Cultural venues policies and procedures and that all other relevant licensing, health and safety requirements, contractual and other statutory obligations are met.
You may be asked to act as one of several personal licence holders for the cultural venues.
Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
