Broomhills Primary School is a new school which will open in August 2020. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Headteacher to build a school community and team, in line with our Edinburgh Learns Strategy for Raising Attainment and Achievement for All.
Our Goal is that every learner experiences the best teaching and learning in all of our schools and early years settings
Broomhills Primary will be a non-denominational school in south east Edinburgh within the new housing development to the south of Frogston Road West. The school will be part of the Gracemount High School cluster, along with Gracemount Primary School.
The school will be an integral part of the community both educationally and socially. The school will have enough room for 420 pupils, alongside an early learning and childcare facility and inspiring outdoor spaces. The initial Senior Leadership Team includes Head Teacher, Business Manager and a Principal Teacher. The Headteacher will have the opportunity to recruit staff as required as the roll grows. The Headteacher will be involved in all planning discussions ahead of the school opening.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
