Salary: £19,687-£19,969 (Pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 22 per week, 39 weeks sessional

Dean Park Primary is a thriving non-denominational primary school which serves the village of Balerno, in the South West of Edinburgh. The primary school is currently organised into 18 classes of P1-P7, and our nursery offers full-time spaces for up to 88 children. We pride ourselves on our positive and inclusive ethos and are committed to promoting equalities and ensuring equity for families.

We are recruiting a Pupil Support Assistant to join our welcoming and friendly team. Experience in supporting with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential.   

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
