Salary - £19,687 - £19,969 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours - 26 per week, 39 weeks sessional

We are seeking to recruit a Pupil Support Assistant at Ferryhill Primary to work the following hours: . Monday – Thursday 8.50am  - 3.15 pm, Friday 8.50am - 12.30pm

We currently have a large pupil support team working throughout the school to support learning, teaching and inclusion and we are looking for another committed, passionate and inspiring member to join our team.  We are committed to supporting children and families with the challenges of life and in 2022 we are particularly focussed on helping children, families and staff in recovery from the pandemic.

This Pupil Support Assistant post involves working directly with individuals, groups and classes across the primary classes.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
