Retail and Reception Manager
City Art Centre

Salary: £25,623 - £30,563
Hours: 5 days over 7, generally 9am-5pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail and Reception Manager to manage and develop the retail and reception operation of the shops run by City of Edinburgh Museums and Galleries.

The successful candidate will lead and direct a team of Retail and Reception Assistants and Retail and Reception Supervisors for City Art Centre and Museum venues.   They will also manage the purchasing, product development and publishing for the Culture Retail and Reception Service.

The post holder will lead, supervise and manage Retail and Reception Supervisors and  Retail and Reception Assistants over at least five venues.  They will also manage casual staff pool and student placements and cover in the absence of the Event and Duty Manager.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.  For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
