School Administrator
Additional Support for Learning Service, East Neighbourhood Office

Salary: £19,424 - £21,828 per annum (pro rata for sessional)
Hours: 36 per week - 39 weeks per year

Based in the East Neighbourhood Centre you will work as part of a team to provide support to the Teaching staff who deliver Additional Support for Learning to early years, primary and secondary children.

As a School Administrator you will be responsible for all aspects of finance, including raising invoices, recharges which involves liaising with other authorities, and ordering through the Councils procurement system. You will also provide support for the monthly and annual audit, the ongoing training programme and some aspects of HR.

You should have good IT and customer skills and have the ability to work under pressure to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
