Senior Health and Safety Adviser (Training)
Waverley Court/Home Working

Salary: £40,275-£47,654 per year
Hours: 36 per week

The Council’s Health and Safety Team provide professional health and safety advice, training and auditing for the City of Edinburgh.  The experienced team produce clear policy, guidance, training and support for Services. This role has been developed to lead on the Council’s Health and Safety Training and development approach, including the delivery of some key training. 

You will be part of a busy dynamic team of health and safety professionals offering a unique opportunity to support the management of risk in our Capital city.

Successful candidates must have a recognised Health and Safety qualification and training qualification or extensive demonstrable experience in a similar role. You will also be a Chartered member of IOSH or equivalent.  Management/supervisory experience is desirable, together with significant experience working in a multidisciplinary organisation such as local government.
