Job Description

Sauchie Nursery is looking to appoint two enthusiastic educators who have the passion and commitment required for a career in Early Learning and Childcare. We provide a learning environment that has the whole family at the heart of the Nursery, Educators who are valued and lead learning with a responsive and reflective ethos.

Sauchie Nursery is in the heart of the village of Sauchie, we are currently registered to accommodate 103 children aged 2 to 5 years old at any one time. The Nursery has recently moved to an extended day model, which is open all year and offers both term- time and extended year models to families.

We strive to provide the best possible Early Learning and Childcare experience for everyone. We are committed to supporting the Scottish Governments aims to make Scotland the best place to grow up. In the last year we have been recognised by the Scottish Government for our excellent approach for our lunch time provision, the Care Inspectorate has awarded our ‘Take What You Need Give What You Can’ initiative as having a valued impact on our community. We were the first Nursery to be awarded with the ‘Diamond Award’ for our outstanding spoken language environment and we received awards for our approach to developing literacy and the community partnership work with the local Primary Schools.
