Requirements

The Revenues Officer is accountable to the Revenues Controller.

 

The Revenues Officer must work with the Controller, Team Leader and Service Manager to ensure the overall compliance of the Revenues Service with its statutory obligations, Council Standing Orders, Contract Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.

  • Customer focus and quality integrated service delivery.
  • Change and modernising the Council, exploiting the potential of electronic technology for efficient and effective service development and delivery, and innovative and flexible working practices.

 

The Revenues Officer will report to the Revenues Controllers. Although the post holder has no direct supervisory responsibilities, they are required to work as a member of a team. The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative, referring only more serious problems to the Revenues Controllers.
