We are looking for a Senior Manager with drive, vision and a commitment to improving outcomes for service users. The post holder will fulfil a key leadership role within our Health and Social Care Partnership and will be an important contributor to the delivery of our strategic plan.
The role provides significant opportunity to shape and deliver services within a remote and rural setting. Overseeing a team of committed professionals, the post covers the whole of the Western Isles, and will require the post holder to be resilient and imaginative in developing services across a range of operational environments.

You will need to demonstrate your success in delivering high quality services, possess excellent leadership skills and evidence your ability to achieve positive outcomes for adults in need of care and support.
You will hold a qualification that allows for registration with SSSC to provide for registered management of a social care setting, Dip SW, SVQIV, RGN or equivalent. This qualification must also be supported by a post qualifying management qualification i.e Registered Managers Award. You will have thorough knowledge of the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 and a successful proven track record of background of consistent achievement as a manger, including managing budgets, registered services and quality assurance systems. You will have the ability to deliver quality standards of care and support within a range of accommodation and support services and have effective time management skills and the ability to direct the workload and responsibilities of the management team within the adult services portfolio. A driving licence is essential.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
