We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to provide strategic leadership to the programme of transformational change, digital improvements, effective workforce planning and organisational development within the Council.

You will be joining our Council at a time of exciting challenge and change in our region. This role provides the opportunity for you to support the achievement of Council priorities and outcomes, and lead and drive forward the development of culture, systems and processes for transformational change whilst maximising the engagement of staff, partners and communities.

You will be a leader with a track record of success at a senior level. You will be focused on achievement, quality and excellence and demonstrate the ability to build relationships and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. Educated to degree standard [or equivalent], you will be experienced in delivering effective leadership and transformational change, effective use of resources, designing and delivering strategic policies to improve organisational performance, and negotiating, communicating and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.
