Statistics and Systems Technician

£30,870 - £33,105
Based in Dumfries, the post holder will work within the newly created Systems and Performance Team. You will be responsible for providing support and development of back-office systems used by Planning and Development. This is currently the IDOX Uniform system.
You will support Planning and Development by contributing to Service Performance Management through ensuring the provision of information management for use in monitoring and performance returns.
You must be educated to a minimum of SCQF Level 8 in computing, IT or related subject. You must have a broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming along with a knowledge of data management and development of data systems
You should be able to take initiative and translate requirements into working solutions with a customer first approach. You must have good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload with competing priorities/workload.
A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
