Trauma Informed Practice Lead Officer (Fixed Term)

An exciting opportunity has been developed to lead and support the strategic work around Psychological Trauma-Informed practice and services across Dumfries and Galloway Council and Community Planning Partners.
In the role you will work as part of the Organisational Development Team, contributing to the implementation of the Council’s People Strategy and Health and Wellbeing Strategy and working with services to design and deliver initiatives that provide trauma informed practices for staff and services at all levels in the Council.
The post will have a key focus on developing the strategy, leading on specific working groups and projects and strengthening our multi-agency partnerships across Dumfries and Galloway.
You will have as a minimum, an SCQF Level 9 in a relevant field (e.g., social work, health professional, community education)
This post is fixed term for 12 months. For internal applicants, this post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
