Working flexibly across schools in Dundee and the Council's main base Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis for 12 months.

You will have 2 Higher Grades at level C or above, or an equivalent National Qualification, or relevant experience in IT.
Computer and network equipment installation, configuration and support of all such equipment in Dundee schools.
Assist in ensuring that the ICT infrastructure in schools is developed and supported to maximise effective use by pupils and teachers.
Advising Headteachers and staff within the schools’ environment on best computer equipment to meet requirements.
Define specific IT requirements for procurement.
Assist in supporting the wider Council ICT environment, as required.
You will have experience in IT support sector in at least 2 of the following categories -
Practical networking (routing, bridging, etc)
Microsoft Server operating systems
PCs / Windows implementation and support
Cabling and Infrastructure
Application software support.
You will have proven ability to manage projects and deadlines and a wide product knowledge as well as proven fault diagnosis and rectification abilities / techniques.
You will have good customer liaison skills.
You will have a current driving licence.
