Requirements

You will have either a degree or relevant professional qualification.

Responsibilities

To lead the Housing Asset Management Team and contribute to, or assist with, the development and implementation of Housing Services, ensuring the service meets its requirements of best value and continuous improvement, empowers employees, encourages innovation and rewards performance.

To prepare and implement the Housing Asset Management Strategy and develop and deliver the Housing Capital Plan in partnership with other services, outlining the projected investment over the Capital Plan lifetime, in accordance with the Council's policies and priorities, meet customer and stakeholder expectations and meet Scottish Government targets and legislative requirements.

Oversee the client role within the Repairs and Maintenance Partnership which includes all reactive repairs, Gas safety and planned maintenance.

To supervise policy formulation and implementation in relation to Housing regeneration, working with other housing agencies and local communities

The Individual

You will have considerable senior management experience in housing, including supervisory experience.

You will have knowledge of capital contracts and housing renewal.

You will be an excellent communicator with workload planning skills.

You will have good written skills and be able to delegate and motivate staff.
