Based at Ardler Complex, Turnberry Avenue, you will work part time, 18.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, on a temporary basis until 31 October 2024.

You will have CLD/community work or Health degree level qualification.
You will co-ordinate the development and general running of the Macmillan Ardler Hub as a space for the local community and with a focus on people with, and affected by, cancer. To co-ordinate a programme of activities around a community cafe, recruit and manage Macmillan volunteers and staff to help build confidence and resilience and create social opportunities for those on or coming through their cancer journey and the wider community.
You will have experience of working in a community development setting, community engagement, capacity building and partnership working.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work without supervision, IT, Social Media and report writing skills are also essential and you will be committed to the ethos of MacMillan Cancer Support and CLD ethics.
You will also be able to work evenings and weekend, as required.
