Job Description
The Scottish Cities Alliance is a unique collaboration of Scotland's eight cities and the Scottish Government, working together to deliver economic growth and attract investment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Alliance to support its aims to promote the country's great economic potential at home and abroad to attract external investment, stimulate economic activity and create new jobs and business opportunities. The Alliance works in partnership to support inclusive economic growth of Scotland’s cities and regions by:
• Speaking powerfully with a single voice to compete successfully in global markets for investment and jobs;
• Raising the profile of Scottish cities as smart and sustainable destinations for investment; and
• Informing policy to ensure that the Scottish cities and their regions remain globally competitive
Based at home and the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2026.

Requirements
You will be qualified to HNC level in a relevant discipline and will have relevant experience within this field.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be ambitious for the Alliance and challenge it to deliver high quality, successful outcomes. You will have relevant experience of working within a fast-paced organisation and capable of providing support to the team, specifically to the Policy lead and Inward Investment lead, helping to ensure the delivery of the outcomes specified within the agreed work plans.
The Individual
You will be self motivated with strong organisational skills and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. You will be able to prioritise and forward plan your workload in order to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality service within a busy working environment.
